The Chief of Army personnel (COAS), the mother of General Syed also Munir, died, which caused a large number of condolences of political and religious leaders.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed a deep sadness, offering sentences for the deceased soul and support for the afflicted family.

President Zardari, in his condolence message, said he also shared the pain of Gen Munir and his family.

Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz also expressed a deep sadness, offering condolences and support to the afflicted family.

The condolences also come from Senator Salem Mandviwalla, the Minister of Transportation of Sindh, Sharjeel Memon, Sindh’s Minister of Energy, Syed Nasir Shah, and the governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori. Memon and Shah prayed for the divine mercy for the deceased and patience for the family.

The religious leader Allama Kokab Noorani Okarvi and Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman also expressed his pain. Fazl described the death of a mother as a great loss and prayed for her forgiveness and strength for the family of the Army Chief.

Meanwhile, the leader of the Muttahida Qaumi-Pakistan (MQM-P) Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui movement urged the members of his party to offer special sentences for the forgiveness of General Munir’s mother.

Separately, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also transmitted his condolences, praying for the elevated range of the deceased in the hereafter and patience for the family family. The president of Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani expressed a deep pain, extending his sympathies to General Munir and praying by force and comfort for his family.

The former president of the Senate, Sadiq Sanjrani, shared similar feelings, ensuring the head of the army of his support in this moment of sadness. The prime minister’s political affairs advisor, Rana Sanaullah, also expressed a deep sadness, praying for the divine mercy on the deceased soul and patience for the afflicted family.

Sindh’s prime minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, and federal ministers Khalid Hussain Magsi and Rana Tanveer Hussain also extended their sympathies. Magsi prayed for his eternal peace at the highest levels of paradise, while Hussain wanted patience and strength for the family family.
