- Motorola has revealed the Watch Fit motorcycle: a new Android fitness tracker
- It looks a lot like Apple Watch, but with up to 16 days of battery
- We have some practical time with the clock; Here are our initial thoughts
Motorola has revealed its new smart watch, the Watch Fit motorcycle. With a squad design similar to Apple Watch, the Watch Fit motorcycle is a thin and light exercise tracker that works with all Android phones, with a large 1.9 -inch AMOLED screen (crowned with hard Gorilla Glass).
However, unlike Apple Watch, it can be executed for up to 16 days with only one load, more than 20 times the battery life of its standard standard of Apple Watch.
While the best Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Ultra 2, exceeds 36 hours of battery, most Apple watches only last 18 hours. This is largely due to the clock executing the Watchos Hungry Operating System of energy. They also packed the sweets of the clock, such as a speaker and a microphone to receive calls and play alarm sounds.
We still don’t know if Moto Watch Fit will run Wear OS 5 as a true Android smart smart watch, but from this first look, I doubt it. I imagine that it will be an alternative of low power more as the best fitness trackers, which tend to last approximately one week. Sixteen days they look more like the territory of Garmin Watch; A very impressive achievement.
While it looks like an Apple Watch, there are some other differences apart from the speaker and the missing microphone. On the one hand, there is no digital crown, since Motorola has chosen to include a tactile side button, as a Fitbit Versa model.
The clock has GPS on board to track training such as running, walking and riding. There is 5ATM water resistance for swimming and an aluminum frame with a plastic to save weight (there are only 25 g). Its price and launch date are unknown, but according to the specifications, we imagine that it will be around the price of an Apple Watch is 2.

Practical thoughts
Our American mobile editor Philip Berne obtained a short practical time with the Watch Fit motorcycle. Said the following:
“The Motorola Moto Watch Fit was a surprise launch along with the latest Motorola Razr phones, and seems decidedly focused on the follow -up of the physical condition that the smartwatch characteristics.
“It looks and feels like a thinner Apple Watch, with its squad and square screen shape, and interchangeable watches bands are even suspected as the design of Apple’s watches band. I was surprised that the Watch Fit motorcycle lacks speakers, so it cannot play alarm sounds.
“Even so, it is well and flat on my arm, it feels very light and is lasting enough to keep up with any activity that throws a normal smart watch, including 5Atm of water resistance. Motorola states that the Moto Watch adjustment will offer 16 days of battery, so it may reduce all those characteristics will have a real benefit for physical conditioning fans.”
