Dr. Akash Ansari, a prominent revolutionary poet, writer and intellectual of Sindh, tragically lost his life in a fire that exploded in the area of the Citizen Colony of Qasimabad, Hyderabad. However, the circumstances surrounding their death have raised suspicions, and the authorities have launched an investigation.
The reports indicate that Dr. Ansari’s son was slightly injured in the incident. The fire began in a room where Dr. Ansari was sleeping, and the initial evaluations suggest that it may have been caused by a short circuit, although a heater was in use in the room.
Rescue sources confirmed that Dr. Ansari, 70, was found dead on the scene. His son, Latif Ansari, was transferred to the Burns room of the Civil Hospital to receive treatment. The Local Police confirmed that after extinguishing the fire, they transported the body to the hospital for a more detailed exam.
Family sources revealed that Dr. Akash Ansari’s funeral initially planned to take place in his hometown of Badin. However, after suspicions that surrounded their death, the police intervened, reminding the family of Hyderabad. The body was returned to the Civil Hospital for an autopsy.
Dr. Ansari’s close friends have expressed concern that his death may not have been accidental. Police have indicated that Post Mortem initial findings suggest dirty game signs.
Dr. Abdul Hamid Mughal, who performed the autopsy, reported that there were deep injuries in Dr. Ansis, consisting of the injuries of a sharp object. In addition, signs of burning were found, but it is not clear if the injuries or the fire finally caused their death.

In the days before the incident, Dr. Ansari had presented a case against Latif at the Bhittai Nagar Police Station. Latif, who was present at the fire scene, said the fire was caused by a short circuit.
Sindh’s prime minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed his condolences for the tragic death of Dr. Akash Ansari and instructed the authorities to carry out an exhaustive investigation into the incident.
The prime minister also paid tribute to the lasting contributions of Dr. Ansari to the literature and culture of Sindhi, describing him as a brilliant poet whose work will continue to inspire.
Prime Minister Shah prayed for Dr. Ansari’s soul to rest in peace and extended his condolences to the afflicted family.
