The Permanent Committee of the National Assembly on the Cabinet Secretariat has requested a comprehensive expenses report from the president of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi regarding the renewal and reconstruction of Crick Stadiums throughout Pakistan.
According Express newsThe Committee has also asked the PCB to provide a formal informative session on the tenth on the current edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). NAQVI is expected to present an overview of the PCB performance in the last six months.
PCB updated stadiums in Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi to improve the facilities for spectators and align with international standards for CT 2025.
In a related development, the PCB will begin the second phase of renovations at the Karachi National Bank stadium immediately after the conclusion of PSL season 10.
The renewal includes the reopening of spectators stands and an important remodeling to take the stadium to the global reference points.
The renewal plan, requested in part for low assistance during PSL 2025, will focus on improving the comfort of the seats, the aesthetics of the place, the movement of the crowd, the parking lots and the accessibility.
