However, an amendment proposed by Jamiat Ulema-E-Islam (Jui) Mna Aliya Kamran was rejected, which opposed the bill with the argument that education falls under the provincial jurisdiction.

The Chamber also approved the bill of the International Exam Board 2024, presented by the president of the Committee of Cashmira, MNA Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon, which seeks to establish an internationally recognized exam authority within Pakistan.

After the approval of the bills, the National Assembly session was postponed until 11:00 am the next day.
