The new Apple TV Android application has just received two excellent updates, but it still lacks a great feature

The Apple TV application is still very fresh for Android devices, since it was finally available in February this year for users, and just after only two months, the Android application receives its first remarkable update that includes two features that could really improve its transmission experience.

Version 1.1 fell yesterday (April 7) and 9to5google was the first to get on the news, revealing that the new update has added preview clips that automatically reproduce in the main carousel of the application. In a way, they can also function as mini trailers that foresee the best Apple TV+ films and the best Apple TV+ programs in their library.

But the second new feature, and possibly more fascinating, is the introduction of the new automatic subtitles configuration. There are two new controls, ‘Show on Muted’ and ‘Show on Skip Back’, and both sound quite useful.

When the ‘Show On Muted’ control enables, this will automatically show the subtitles when the volume of the film or the Apple TV+ program you are watching is turned to the right manually or is silenced. On the other hand, enable the configuration ‘Show on Skip Back’ will show subtitles temporarily when rewitting up to 30 seconds, perfect to get distracted and lose an important moment on the screen.

Landing things, the Apple TV Android application has introduced an automatic playback configuration that will reproduce recommended content once a movie, show or even a sporting event has ended, as well as the way in which YouTube of videos related to automatic game, maintaining its transmission experience in a continuum.
