- A collection of new leaked photos of DJI Mini 5 Pro has been released
- The “C0” label suggests that it will be the first sub-249g drone with a 1 inch sensor
- The battery seems to be the same as that used by DJI Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 Pro
A new set of leaked photos of the DJI Mini 5 Pro have arrived, bringing with it a lot of new information about the next ultralight weight drone.
After the rendering and the filtered specifications that emerged earlier this month, this set of photos, shared in X (previously Twitter) and Dronexl by the Tipster of Jasper Ellens Trons, seem to show the real drone from a variety of angles.
Some new exclusive photos of my friends today. Revealing multiple secrets in #Mini5Pro. It seems that DJI managed to achieve the unthinkable: a 1 -inch 1 -inch camera drone low 249 grams of 249 grams of 1 inch. They really came true! Greetings jasperhttps: //t.co/oouwzgulgcAugust 13, 2025
These new views of the DJI Mini 5 Pro seem to reveal some key details about the drone, such as the fact that it will use exactly the same batteries as the Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 Pro – Great news for people who already have one or both of those models.
However, more exciting is the presence of a “C0” class label at the bottom of the drone. Assuming this is real, it is a confirmation that the mini 5 pro will still weigh less than 250 g.
While this cannot be called surprising news, after all, the weight of Sub-250g has long been one of the key points of sale of the Mini series, it is great to see that the new features of Mini 5 Pro meant new features such as Lidar and a camera with a 1-inch sensor have not inclined it to class C1.
Personally, I see getting a 1 inch sensor in a sub-250g drone as a great achievement for DJI; Having the performance of DJI images of images in a drone that can fly with much less uproar, at least here in the United Kingdom where I live, makes it a really exciting perspective.
If the filtered information is correct, I can definitely see that the DJI Mini 5 Pro is my next reference drone for the day -to -day air videography and videography.
Secret button?
A last intriguing detail of the new leaks is the presence of what a small button looks like the drone side.
What this could do is still a mystery, but a potential theory is that the drone will launch when there is no present controller. This could give similar selfies shooting capabilities to DJI Flip or DJI NEO, which allows users to deploy it, throw it from their hand to take a fast clip or photo before it returns automatically, no controller or even a smartphone is required.
With these last pieces of information added to what we have already heard, we can now build a fairly clear image of how the mini 5 pro could be seen in terms of specifications.
- DJI mini 5 pro -rumored specifications
- 1 inch image sensor that supports a video of up to 4K 120 fps
- 24 mm lens with opening f/1.8
- 48 mm average teleobjective withdrawal mode
- Gimbal that supports the 225ยบ movement, including vertical shot
- Infrared and omnidirectional vision sensors oriented forward
- 36 -minute battery duration
That is an impressive set of specifications for a small folding drone, and I am anxious for confirmation when DJI finally officially launches the mini 5 pro.
It is rumored that this will happen in September 2025, which is getting closer and more. Consult again to get more news in the coming weeks.
