While Amazon has so far been highlighting and showing Alexa+ in the Echo Show 15 and Echo Show 21, we finally take a look at the vision of the hardware designed for the next -generation intelligent assistant of AI, and it is an almost unanimous update.
Like the most modern, something of the death star, Echo Dot Max or Echo Studio, the new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 restore the design language for Amazon’s smart screens. Gone are the voluminous and bulbous rear with an always inclined screen attached to the front that feels flat like a brick.
The screens in the new spectacle 8 and show 11 almost seem to float from any direction, higher with a few inches underneath to let the speakers bake in the backward fire forward. You could say that this is for Alexa’s voice to be heard, but also for music, podcasts, sound landscapes, audiobooks, television programs, movies and even kitchen instructions sound robust.
The 8 -inch or 11 -inch screen in the Echo Show is remarkably thin, especially compared to previous echo programs. These look beautiful and modern in every way, and although it is possible that you feel tempted to get the screen, the Echo program is not a tablet.
The base and rear helmet, where the screen is mounted, are finished with a woven mesh that feels soft to the touch and adds to elegance. It is essentially similar to the exterior shell of the new Smart Speakers, further reinforcing the impression of a holistic review. You get your choice between glacier white and graphite.
This is also the first hardware to coincide with Alexa+, which will be pre -installed once the show 8 and the show 11 are working, and has accepted the terms. Remember, it is free with a main membership or $ 20 per month.
It will mainly control the Echo Show 8 or 11 with its voice through Alexa and its integrated microphones of distant field, but the screens are also enabled for touch. Amazon promises that these are designed to look good from any angle and that the content will remain visible, whether you are seeing a presentation of photo slides, exploring widgets, seeing content or when Alexa launches a visual to answer a consultation.
The Echo Show 8 has an 8.7 -inch HD touch screen with a resolution of 800 × 1134, while the show 11 presents an HD HD screen of 10.95 inches with a 1920 × 1200 resolution. In the practical space, both offered visually rich experiences, I saw many tones of blue, and I hurried to respond to the touch. The new Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 do not match exactly how it could have been a previous Echo program, and I think that is the point.
