- Debot X11 Omnicyclone is a new Ecovacs flagship robovac
- Add fast charging to gain to recharge the battery every time the bots appears on your dock
- It also has mechanical climbing for high thresholds and a pier without bag
Ecovacs has a new flagship robot vacuum, the omniciclón deebot X11, and it is about delivering uninterrupted cleaning with a minimal human intervention. For that, the brand decided to create a bot that did not have to return to its dock for an extended recharge period in the middle of a cleaning house.
However, I wanted to do it without adding a larger battery to the robot, which would result in a physically larger and heavy bot. The solution in which it was established was to add fast charging functionality to the dock, so that every time the robot returned to take its trafficked pads or empty its container, it would fill the battery.
Specifically, Ecovacs has added the Load of GAN, which is a more efficient and cold load method than regular rapid charging. This speed loading function can restore 6% of the battery during a three -minute tra MOP cleaning cycle. Awesome.
I have tried many robovacs at home and I never found that recharge times are a problem, but none of my regular test locations is especially large. The X11 is really oriented to the houses of North America with Palaciegos planes, where an entire household cleaning is more than you can handle a single load, and where hanging waiting for your bot to be before the work can end could be annoying.
I obtained some practical time with the Debot X11 in IFA 2025, and although the fast charging function was quite difficult to demonstrate, I could see the other characteristics of the bot in the action.
Fantastic characteristics
A remarkable update is the notches system. The X11 has a Mop Roller that has improved to make it more durable. Ecovacs has added nylon strips that act as a sicavador gentle to evict dry dirt.
The roller begins to clean near the edges of the rooms. It extends beyond the previous model: 15 mm beyond the body of the robot, and has small roller wheels on the edge that means that if it makes contact with the edge of a room, it will not scratch.
Ecovacs is the last of several Robovac brands to address the problem of how to navigate in the high room thresholds. The X11 adds a ‘TruePass adaptive climbing system’, where the wheel levers raise the robot, so that it can reach rooms outside the limits or thick carpets to continue on its cleaning trip. You can erase a single step of 2.4 cm, or 4 cm if the steps are staggered.
What distinguishes this bot is that the whole process is mechanical: the levers are automatically activated when the BO reaches a high step. That makes it more reliable than technology -based approaches that require the camera correctly identifying a threshold.
Finally, the dock has been updated. In particular, it now does not require bags. With the manual vacuum cleaners that largely eliminate with the bags, a slightly backward step has been felt having to deal with them again with the robovacs in another way so modern.
Ecovacs deals with this by adding cyclones technology to separate large remains from fine dust, avoiding obstruction and keeping things flowing gently, even without a bag to maintain all content. All this is in a transparent container on the dock. (Actually looks a lot like the system that appears in the recently announced Dyson Robot vacuum).
