a new game League of Legends (Ha ha ha) kinematics seems to have sparked our first look at one of ArcaneProjects aftereffects of.
The five-minute long video, titled ‘Welcome to Noxus’, which premiered yesterday (January 7) is, first and foremost, a fully CGI film promoting the imminent arrival of Ha ha haThe first season of the year. However, while the promotional video was created to build up excitement ahead of Season 1’s debut on January 9, it simultaneously acts as an epilogue to Arcane season 2 and/or a prelude to the first follow-up to Netflix’s highly rated show.

The cinematic, set to Teya’s ‘Bite Marks’ song, was developed in collaboration with Fortiche, the French animation studio that made Arcane along with Netflix and Riot, is full of references to the trio’s first animated film. Ha ha ha adaptation. The most obvious of those callbacks is Mel Medarda, the daughter of the Noxian warlord Ambessa. As I mentioned in my Arcane Explained piece from the Season 2 Act 3 finale, the series finale episode revealed that Mel was traveling back to her homeland of Noxus to seek answers to, well, everything that happened to her in Season 2. That includes how she acquired wizard powers, why she now. -The deceased mother left Noxus with the aim of conquering it again with the Piltover Hextech, and what role The Black Rose has in the past, present and future of the Medarda family.
Speaking of The Black Rose, there are numerous references to the clandestine organization throughout. Ha ha haThe last trailer. We see flashes of LeBlanc, Vladimir and Elise, three of the four most infamous members of The Black Rose, and shots of Mel fighting some of the cabal’s dark magic-wielding wizards. Oh, and don’t overlook LeBlanc’s comment about “Piltover being a lesson” for The Black Rose to learn from. Clearly, this is a nod to the events that occurred in Arcane seasons 1 and 2, so there’s no denying that the Netflix series’ story is reshaping, and perhaps even reconfiguring aspects of, the broader Ha ha ha universe.
Many other Noxian characters are also shown throughout the trailer. The assassin known as Katarina is the person who trains with the arachnid-like Elis, while the enormous Freljord troll named Trundle is seen facing and then being defeated by Darius, who is one of the most iconic Noxian champions in history. Ha ha ha. This latest duel certainly suggests that Noxus is continuing its global expansion by attempting to conquer the Freljord, which could be a secondary location to be explored in future spin-offs of Arcaneaka one of the best Netflix shows ever made.
Curiously, there is no mention or look at Grand General Swain of Noxus, who was mocked in ArcaneThe last episode through the six-eyed crow. Beyond Ha ha haOn the official Reddit page, some fans were baffled by its absence from the trailer, especially given how integral it is to this region of Runeterra. However, you can be sure that it will be part of season 1 of Ha ha ha2025 calendar.
Since then Arcane Season 2 ended last November, fans have been clamoring for more information about the projects that Riot, Netflix and Fortiche are preparing. At the moment there is very little we know about these productions, which are still in the early stages of development, but some details have been revealed by ArcaneChristian Linke co-creator since the show ended airing on the world’s best streaming service.

League of Legends The adaptation lands on Netflix. In a separate interview with TechRadar that took place after his final chapter, Linke also denied that three Arcane Spin-offs were in the works, before adding that he couldn’t say when they would be released or what Ha ha ha The champions would appear in future projects.
