In an era of hybrid work and an increasingly remote collaboration, Lenovo has presented what he states that it is an innovative solution of all in one.
The ThinkSmart One Pro is a compact device that fuses computation, audio and intelligent video in a single bar mounted on the wall.
Technically, The ThinkSmart One Pro is a full PC, but Lenovo is positioning it as a mini PC for modern conferences, since it presents a complete HD and high definition camera with functions with AI as dynamic frame, intelligent zoom and video fences.
Improved collaboration compact
These tools improve visual clarity, but they are not unique. Many of the best web cameras on the market already offer AI framework and noise filtering.
In the heart of ThinkSmart One Pro there is an Intel Core i5 processor integrated with Intel Vpro, which is executed Windows 11 IoT Enterprise, but its value may be more in its integration than in the introduction of radically new capacities.
The 10.1 -inch touch screen controller, available on two models, provides intuitive access to video calls through leading videoconference platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webx or Google Meet.
The screen admits the anti-flange and anti-Smundge characteristics, and with support for HDMI and POE, addresses common concerns about delay and connectivity.
The main point of sale of the device are its audio capabilities, which include eight microphones integrated with 180 degrees and advanced DSP coverage for echo and noise cancellation.
It also has stereo speakers capable of producing 15 watts.
This raises the question of whether this audio matrix is really necessary for the small spaces for which it is intended.
Lenovo has also included the compatibility of Train-Your-Device (Byod), allowing users to connect their laptops and benefit from the antivirus thinksmart One Pro capacities.
“Knowledge workers everywhere value well -equipped spaces that allow the latest characteristics and applications that work with AI to meet and collaborate,” said Marcus Kennedy, general manager of commercial solutions in Lenovo.
Lenovo also includes implementation support and a ThinkSmart Premium license for the first year.
The price starts at $ 2,999 for the USB controllers package, increasing to $ 3,499 for the IP version.
This device is not cheap, and it seems that Lenovo is aimed at organizations that prioritize collaboration tools without sewing and business degree.
Even so, to these price points, potential buyers can consider whether grouping these characteristics in a unit really adds value on the use of separate high quality components already available.
