The peripheral high -end brand SCUF has presented the SCUF Pro Value, a relatively affordable Xbox Pro controller that looks like a surprisingly comprehensive package for its price.
For $ 99.99 / £ 99.99 (which is huge $ 80 / £ 60 less than the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2) is obtaining a Premium game that is compatible with Xbox and PC consoles. It is the first Xbox Scuf controller that presents the highly desirable tribute thumbs, which are more durable and help prevent the drifting of the palgar of the thumb.
It has a new audio control system that allows you to adjust the audio of your headset through two small dials directly in the Gamepad. You also get what the company calls ‘contoured bumpers’, a larger bumper shape that involves the top of the controller for faster inputs.
This is in addition to a flood of the characteristics of the expected pro controller, such as four portable rear palettes, the ability to save up to three unique control profiles, instant trigger locks and rubber grip. Although a transport case is not included in the box, it obtains two additional thumbs to further customize its controller.
On paper, the SCUF Pro Value seems a great update compared to the wireless standard Xbox controller and even has significantly more characteristics than Xbox Elite Series 2 at a much lower price. While it seems likely to be among the best Xbox controllers in the market, there is a great capture to take into account.
The SCUF value can only be used in a wired capacity and comes with a USB-C cable of 10 feet for that purpose. This may not be a big problem for some, but it could make it difficult to adjust the controller to its configuration, especially if you play on the couch at a quite a distance from the TV.
In spite of this, the SCUF Valo Pro seems a very convincing offer and it is great to see a traditionally expensive brand like Scuf is branched in lower -cost products. The SCUF value is available to order now through the Scuf website.
