- Getac B360 and B360 Pro laptops improve safety, speed and efficiency with AI
- B360 admits three ssd, triple batteries and thunderbolt 4 connectivity
- Built for extremes, B360 meets the MIL-STD-810H and IP66 standards
Getac has launched two new resistant laptops with AI, B360 and B360 Pro, which carries the tool capabilities of their resistant products for the first time after the introduction of F110 and the K120 last year.
Getac says that these business portable computers are designed for professionals who work in extreme environments and demanding industries, such as defense, public safety and profits, are also the first totally resistant models that present Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors and Intel Ai Boost technology.
In the tests, the devices processed text tasks to reports in seconds, which demonstrates the advantages of the edge AI over the cloud -based solutions.
Yield driven in a resistant design
Beyond the AI, the B360 admits the transfer of high speed data with Thunderbolt 4. also presents Wi-Fi 7, which improves wireless performance with faster speeds and lower latency.
The B360 comes with dual standard batteries and the option of adding a third party, which allows an extended operation without inactivity time. It admits up to three fast SSDs, providing a total capacity of 6 TB.
For professionals who handle intensive graphics, the B360 Pro includes a GPU Nvidia Quadro RTX A500 of optional 4GB. This improves visual processing while guaranteeing performance without problems in applications such as mapping, surveillance and 3D modeling.
In addition, the B360 PRO presents an optional media bay that can house a third battery, a DVD or Blu-ray unit, or additional storage.
As most resistant laptops, Getac B360 and B360 Pro standards meet Mil-STD-810H and IP66, offering protection against clashes, dust and water. They can also be equipped with high precision GPS.
In defense applications, the B360 PRO can be equipped with additional PCMCIA readers for expanded functionality and mount in vehicles for mobile command operations. At the time of publication, the price of these laptops has not been revealed. However, they will be available in April 2025.
“As the popularity of open source and language models of the expert mixture (MOE) continue to grow at a fast pace, we have collaborated with industry customers to develop innovative vertical market applications that allow them to make the most of the operational benefits,” said James Hwang, president of Getac Technology Corporation.
“These advances will boost the demand for resistant edge devices such as sectors B360 and B360 pro of the next generation, and accelerate the adoption of AI in the public security, public services and defense sectors.”
