- Switchbot K20+ Pro multitasy domestic robot is already on sale
- It includes a robovac with a platform in which several appliances can be attached
- It can function as a mobile fan, air purifier and more
Most robot vacuum cleaners are content just to take care of cleaning their floors. This is not the Switchbot K20+ Pro. This new robovac can operate not only as a void, but also as a fan, air purifier or delivery service.
The configuration comprises a compact robot vacuum, on which clips the ‘fusion platform’. The platform becomes a base for several other appliances, and the robovac becomes the wheels that lead the entire configuration.
It is compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri, for an integration of Home Smart Smart, and some docked appliances functions can also be automated as part of the Switchbot ecosystem. Because everything is above a robot vacuum cleaner, you will also get all the technology that comes with that: Navigation Lidar precise, mapping and avoidance of objects (Switchbot makes some of today’s best robot vacuum cleaners for small houses: get a policyholder in our switchbot k10+ pro mini review).
The K20+ Pro was presented for the first time at CES 2025 in January, and starting today, it is on sale in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. You can choose the kit that suits your needs, with prices that begin from $ 699.99 / £ 599.99 / € 599.99.
For example, the K20+ Pro air flow kit includes a switchbot battery circulation fan, which allows you to live your Mariah Carey fantasies following and acting as your own personal wind machine while moving from one room to another.
Alternatively, the patrol kit includes a Switchbot tilt camera, and offers real -time movement monitoring and detection in your home, with instant notifications if there is any interruption.
There is also the K20+ Pro air purifier kit, whereby the bot put on an air purifier hat. Then you can drive from one room to another to clear the air from any nasties, maybe remotely, while it is out of the house.
The simplest but perhaps the most useful integration is simply a table, which makes the bot an ‘intelligent delivery assistant’. It can be used to deliver food, packages or almost anything you want, provided that weigh less than 8 kg. Here is a margin for K20+ to be useful for those with mobility limitations.
If it is particularly expert in technology, the configuration also supports DIY customization and third -party devices, so it can hack the system to help you meet your own specific needs. Switchbot suggests that you want to add things like speakers or UV sterilization lamps.
