- New magnetic switch to turn on and off the headphones without the case
- Up to 65 hours of battery duration with ANC off
- £ 125 / € 149 / $ 149
If you are looking for headphones to use in a mission to space, audio-technique has things: its new ATH-cks50tw headphones have an extraordinary battery life of 65 hours in total, which is enough to fly to the moon. That makes my Airpods pro 2 look quite weak.
The Buds’ own batteries deliver 25 hours of continuous reproduction, and the load case adds another 40. Those figures are with an active noise cancellation (ANC), but with ANC enabled the numbers are still amazing: 15 hours of the shoots and another 25 of the case.
Again, in comparison, the Airpods Pro 2 gives six hours of the outbreaks alone. The Sony WF-1000xm5 gives it eight hours. The new audio-technical headphones absolutely crush Any of the best headphones to this extent.
ATH-CKS50TW2 Audio-Technica: Key features and prices
The durable cherry cherry is that the new headphones will cost only $ 149 / £ 125 (around AU $ 260).
One of the most unusual new features here is a magnetic switch, which feeds or disables outbreaks when separating or joining their incorporated magnets. The idea is to be able to turn off the outbreaks without having to put them in the case, although I am not sure that there are many people who have been cursing the tyranny of loading cases. However, it is good to have the option.
The case is also compatible with Qi wireless loaders, which is something strange among affordable headphones: it does not get it from the Sony WF-C710N or the nothing of ear (a), for example.
The headphones have hybrid ANC with audio and conversation modes, Bluetooth audio with the most advanced LC3 codec, the 9 mm custom design controllers with extended low -end response and hybrid tips of hard and soft silicone ears. They are already waterproof dust proof, with IP55 rating.
The specifications and specifications of the battery in particular are impressive, but it is worth noting that Audio-Technica has had some problems with the headphones batteries in the past: its SQ1TW2 wireless headphones had a defective lot that overheats and has even retired from the ATH3TW headphones box, again due to the excess exhibition.
So, although I am glad to see the battery life that changes the game, if AT is pressing the boundaries of the battery technology here, you may want to be attentive to any retreat, just in case. (Without word game).
