  • Roku has launched two new home resistant security cameras
  • The largest of the two has a battery life of up to two years with a single load.
  • Roku has not revealed prices, but the cameras will go on sale at the end of this year

The Roku transmission specialist has released a couple of new wireless security cameras that can send video images directly to your phone or television, allowing you to watch your patio without leaving the couch.

The Roku battery chamber can work for up to six months with a single load, while the plus battery camera works up to two years. Both cameras are climate resistant, and can be configured indoors or in a few seconds.

You can use the Roku Smart Home application or Roku Web View to customize your camera configuration, configure schedules and receive notifications. Chambers can also be used as movement detectors to activate some of the best smart lights or other connected devices.
