- Electronic Arts has revealed two new The Sims 4 teams
- Both contain SpongeBob SquarePants themed items.
- The reveal comes alongside the announcement of a new login event.
Publisher Electronic Arts has revealed two new DLC kits for The Sims 4and both are part of an official Spongebob Squarepants collaboration.
The first is the SpongeBob SquarePants House Kit which, as the name suggests, is full of items that will help you recreate SpongeBob’s iconic pineapple home.
Key elements include his diving helmet TV, foghorn alarm clock (complete with its own authentic sound effects) and, of course, his inflatable couch. You even get your own magical conch shell, presumably for your Sims to consult for guidance.
These items are aimed at adult Sims, but there is no shortage of kids either thanks to the other kit: the SpongeBob SquarePants Kids Room Kit.
This features items that look more like real-world products than things from the show’s universe, like a Krusty Krab game, a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed bed, a Gary the Snail children’s wall clock, not to mention SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy plush toys.
Both kits will release on December 4, 2025 and will be available separately for $6.99 each or together as part of a $9.99 bikini bottom bundle for a limited time. This last option includes three exclusive bonus items: The Flying Dutchman’s Jungle Gym, Goofy Goober Guitar, and Conch Street Aquarium, but you’ll need to purchase it before March 3, 2026!
The news comes alongside the announcement of a new SpongeBob login event called Deck the Palms. Log in on days between December 16, 2025 and January 11, 2026 to unlock exclusive items. This even includes some cool SpongeBob SquarePants-themed items, like a Krabby Patty recipe to lock up in your Sim’s house.
It seems like the perfect way to get some SpongeBob goodness without having to spend a lot of money on the DLC.
The Sims 4 is now available as a free-to-play title for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. You can also play it on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
