The Defensive Lin Desmond Watson showed its soccer skills in front of the explorers on the professional NFL day of the Florida Gators on Thursday.
Watson, which appears in 464 pounds, aims to make history in the NFL. If a franchise selects Watson in the draft next month, it would become the heaviest player recruited in the history of the league.

Watson did not talk to the media after going through some exercises in Gainesville on Thursday. But the teammates and coaches of Watson spoke in their name and praised the NFL draft perspective for what they could achieve during their time with the Gators.
“It moves much better than anyone thought it would do it in its size,” said defensive Tackle Joey Slackman. “I don’t see why a team would not give you a chance. He is a football player from beginning to end; I want that type of my team” I would “.

Watson’s size and strength stood out for perhaps the most important day on their professional trip.
“Dez, obviously, is a unicorn,” said Florida coach Billy Napier. “You will go the rest of your career, and you will never be close to that height. And then you will meet Dez. It is extremely intelligent. He has a great sense of humor. He was a great teammate.
“Obviously it appeared in good shape today, so you will receive your chance, and I hope you take the most.”
Watson appeared in 449 pounds last season, compared to 435 pounds such as Junior and 415 pounds as a second year student. He has had to handle his weight since he stepped on the campus for the first time in 2021, when the then Florida coach Dan Mullen, called him “a 385 pound athlete.”

“He has had numerous nutritionists, numerous position coaches, numerous strength coaches, and I think that last year we probably executed the best we have,” said Napier. “And I thought he played his best football in his career. In general, I think he has learned a lot about the construction of habits, self -discipline.
“Ultimately, the score of the frame of the type would indicate that it will be a great. That number will always be quite large. It has 6 feet 6 inches and only the density, the bone structure. It is just a large man.”
Watson never lost a game in his four seasons in Gainesville. However, its most prominent aspects are few and distant.
