The National Soccer League was beaten with an antimonopoly demand by two fans who claim that the League has refused to allow its teams to join Bluesky, according to multiple reports.

Patrick Brown, a Chicago Bears fan, and Collin Vincent, who root for the Seattle Seahawks, presented a 14 -page complaint in New York, claiming that the League is restricting the commitment between teams and players on the social media site.

“Where the teams meet their fans on social networks is between teams and fans,” said Thomas Burt, the lawyer’s lawyer, A Deports Sports. “The NFL does not have the legal right to inject that decision.”

Fans feel that they should not be limited to platforms, especially X, to interact with their teams.

Fred Kirsch, vice president of Kraft Sports & Entertainment content, recently said in the podcast “Patriots without filtering” that New England patriots “were not allowed” to have a Bluesky account and that the NFL was told to eliminate its page.

The site has accumulated more than 30 million new users, and most joined in the middle of the changes of Elon Musk al then Twitter, now known as X, and the participation of the billionaire with the Trump administration.

Demand says that NFL’s decision to prohibit teams in Bluesky is a “financial matter”, citing “published reports.” Sports Business Journal reported last month that the League wants an association paid with Bluesky if the teams join.

The demand also says that the NFL announced earlier this month that the equipment is not allowed on the platform, although this announcement has not been made public or even informed.

The NFL did not immediately respond to an email for a request for comments.
