NFL Network Kyle Bant analyst criticized the narrative of the media and theories about why Shedeur Sanders slipped the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round.
Brandt appeared in “Good Morning Football” to board the Sanders slide that was strengthened on the weekend. Sports experts immediately did the problem about the race. Stephen A. Smith called it “collusion at Kaepernick level”, while former congressman Jamaal Bowman theorized “America continues to fear strong black men.”

This did not sit well with Brandt. He said Sanders slipped into the fifth round began as a “football story for a history of drunken media.”
“It became one of these rodeos of seismic media where you can sit there and see the people you have followed for years say things that you know do not believe or, in the best case, they say somewhere emotional where they were so deranged and out of the reserve … I mean, I am listening to things like the conspiracy, collusion, what are you talking about?” Brandt asked.
“Don’t you think that if a team thinks that Sheders would help them win a game more than the other type, that they would not recruit him immediately? They would do it. I promise you. These coaches, these GM are obsessed people, desperate and nomads who only want to win games and not transfer their families to another city after being fired.”
Brandt described the conversation of the media as “as unpleasant” that makes NFL fans “root against” Sanders due to the way experts transmitted their opinions outside the rails on the matter.

The Super Bowl champion gives a reason why Shedeur Sanders fell to the fifth NFL draft round
“It’s sad, and it’s stupid,” he continued. “And when something is as far away, as this story has been on the planet Mars, so far in the ether, this so reckless in the comment, you have to look for some simple truths … the teams did not love Shedeur in the Draft. No one loved him as a player. If someone loved him, they would have written it much earlier. Maybe he loved him, nobody loved him.”
Brandt theorized that if the teams were not going to play Sanders immediately, they did not want the celebrity and the attention that comes with him, especially as a substitute field marshal.
“I don’t know if that is a batting-lifting crazy enough to keep up with friends who talk about Shedeur at this time, but that is my only practical reaction to what happened.”

Sanders was elected 144ยบ in general and will now compete to make the list with Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and his airmate Dillon Gabriel.
