Could LeBron James have prospered in the NFL if he had chosen to bring his grill talents instead of hard wood? The open receiver of the Los Angeles Rams star, Davante Adams, certainly thinks.

“It would have been one of the best receivers, winged wing of all time. There is no doubt,” Adams said during a recent appearance in “Dan Patrick Show.”

Adams cited the speed of James as one of the reasons why he would succeed in the NFL.

“He can also fly. That is the thing. He is one of the fastest NBA players probably all time,” Adams said.

“I’ve never seen someone cover space on a basketball court. Maybe John Wall? Derrick Rose? Anyone, but he is there with all of them.”

With six feet and 250 pounds, James certainly has the size to play winged or an open receiver in the NFL, since it is larger than some of the best to do so.

James said previously that his comparison in the football field would have been a combination of Randy Moss and Rob Gronkowski.

“Probably as a mixture between, you know, (Rob Gronkowski) or Randy Moss a little, but it is much smaller than me. It runs much faster, but it is much smaller than me,” James said during an appearance in “new heights” in March.

González was six feet and five inches and 243 pounds, while Johnson appeared as six feet and five and 237 pounds during his career as a player.

In 164 career games, Adams has 957 race trapped for 11,844 yards and 103 touchdowns. Last season, in 14 games with the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders, Adams had 67 trapped for 854 yards and seven touchdowns.

Adams signed with the Rams this low season and gives the team one of the best league receiver duos with the star Puka Nacua.
