Two more students, Sheema Ibrahim and Muskan, hugged martyrdom while receiving treatment in Quetta, which increases the number of martyred students in the recent terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Baluchistan, eight, to eight, according to security sources. The death toll from death has increased to 10.
Security officials confirmed that among the martyrs there are seven students and a male student.
On suicide bombing day, Sania Soomro (Grade 6), Hafsa Kausar (Grade 7) and Ayesha Salem (Grade 10) were among the first to embrace martyrdom.
Later, Haider, Malaika and Sehr Salem also succumbed to their wounds while receiving medical treatment, security officials said.
According to intelligence sources, the attack was planned and sponsored by the terrorist state of India.
“The blood of these innocent children will not remain without understanding. Those behind this, including Indian managers and their local agents, will be responsible,” security officials declared.
During an informative press session in Rawalpindi on Friday DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry added that the attack was not only on a school bus, but an attack on our values, education and the fabric of our society. “Our answer will be decisive. They will not succeed,” said the Secretary of the Interior.
DG ISPR said that the attackers sponsored by India do not have humanity, morality and identity of Baloch or Pakistani, and added that India has been involved in terrorism sponsored by the State for 20 years, destabilizing regional peace. He pointed out that in 2009, Pakistan had presented a file to the United Nations with evidence of the participation of India in terrorist activities in Baluchistan.
He stressed that the Khuzdar incident was deeply tragic, made under the orders of India, and that Fitna al-Hindustan is aimed at innocent people, including children and travelers.
The United Nations Security Council strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Khuzdar. In a statement, the Council extended its deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the Pakistan government and the Pakistani people, while wanting a rapid recovery for the injured.
The Council reaffirmed that terrorism in all forms raises a severe threat to international peace and security. He requested the responsibility of the perpetrators, organizers, financial and sponsors of such attacks, urging the states to cooperate with Pakistan to take the responsible parties before justice.
