Kansas City was ecstatic when the real ones called their best prospect, Jac Caglianone, but a former MLB executive called him the “most irresponsible movement I’ve seen in quite some time.”
The former president of the Miami Marlins team, David Samson, vocalized his disgust with the main office of the Royals, bringing Caglianone to the big leagues despite their success in minors.
It was not Caglianone’s performance, Samson was referring in his opinion. It has to do with service time.

“If it will be so good, what do you call it now where the arbitration will hit a full year before they waited until after June 17?” Samson wondered.
“I have no idea how a team that is not in the Top 10 of the payroll is not paying attention to the dates. And the real ones that fork the problem, that is a lot of horses of horses. Take the additional two weeks because it gives you an additional year and is composed in arbitration.”

Caglianone will reach arbitration a year earlier because Kansas City raised it before the deadline of Super Two. Service time has been a topic discussed for some time between baseball experts and fans because the teams have the ability to maintain perspectives on the farm to guarantee another year of control.
But Kansas City clearly does not mind mentioning Caglianone now.

He was called, but Caglianone is one of the main perspectives in baseball and has been raking in minors this year with a .322/.389/.593 cutting line with 15 homers and 56 races promoted between Double-A and Triple-A.
Samson believes that calling Caglianone now presses more about him to immediately perform due to the service time stage.
“This is a $ 10 million decision they took. It will be better to be Vladimir Guerrero Mr., and it is better to begin now,” Samson said.
Caglianone was 0 by 5 in his major leagues debut on Tuesday against the Cardinals of San Luis.

Kansas City expects Caglianone to acclimatize to the big leagues sooner rather than later, and hope to reach the playoffs in consecutive seasons after breaking an eight -year skate last year with a position on the wild card.
The last time the royal arrived at the playoffs before that was the 2015 campaign, when they defeated the New York Mets in the World Series.
