The Open: Scottie Scheffler takes the leadership when entering the final round

Scottie Scheffler was the leader at the end of the third round of the open on Saturday in Royal Portrush.

Scheffler, 29, continued his dominant game on Saturday, finishing 4 under a couple to spend 14 bass for the tournament.

The three -time older champion played golf without Bogey and had an eagle and two birdies. Scheffler’s eagle reached the seventh hole, while his two Birdies were in the eighth holes and 16, respectively.

If Scheffler can keep and win tomorrow, he will have three quarters of the road to Slam Slam and win his second great tournament of the year. Scheffler won the PGA championship in May.

If Scheffler wins on Sunday open on Sunday, he will join an exclusive list of players to win the Masters, the PGA championship and the open before turning 30.

The only three players to achieve that feat are Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods.

While Scheffler stayed first at the top of the classification, there was a lot of movement behind him.

Matt Fitzpatrick entered the third round in the second place at 9 under a par, but fired even torque and fell to third place. Li Haotong exceeded the second place of Fitzpatrick and fired 2 under torque to go to 10 low for the tournament.

There is a four -way draw for fourth place, since four different players increased in the dispute in the final round.

Rory Mcilroy triggered 5 low to move to 8 -und for the tournament. Chris Gotterup, Harris English and Tyrrell Hatton were 3 under Saturday to improve at 8 under the tournament.

Brian Harman entered the day in a tie for third place at 8 under par, but fought on Saturday and it was 2 on par to fall into a draw for the ninth place.

The first match will take off at 8:30 am et in the final round of the open.
