Rawalpindi:
Mna Qamarul Islam Raja has opposed any movement to bring former Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan back to the PML-N fold and warned of protest to the leadership of the party.
Raja had defeated Nisar in his origin of origin after the latter separated from the game after a 34 -year association. However, Nisar returned to the Care Center last week when Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited him after a seven -year -old gap and held a meeting.
At the meeting, where Nisar’s son, Taimur Ali Khan, was also present, the prime minister asked about Nisar’s health, according to an official statement. They also discussed several political issues, as well as on the ongoing national matters.
Since his loss in the general elections in 2018, Nisar had been living an isolated life, far from the glow of the media. However, after the meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz, rumors abounded that he could re-join the PML-N.
In an interview with a private news channel, Raja said he opposed Nisar’s return, warning that if his party had any treatment with Nisar, he would protest with the leadership of the party. “I will oppose him [Nisar] And complain with the party, “he said.
Raja said that during the elections, his family, who was campaigning for him, was constantly threatened, and added that he had received messages not to compete against Nisar.
