QUETTA:
Judge Aamir Rana of the Electoral Tribunal of Baluchistan has directed a new vote count in 22 electoral centers in the districts of Zhob and Killa Saifullah.
The decision follows a request from the National Awami Party of Pashtunkhwa (PKNAP), which raises concerns about the alleged irregularities in the general elections of February 2024.
The count will be carried out in the office of the Electoral Commission under official supervision, with candidates to compete and their legal teams present to guarantee transparency and procedural equity.
The president of PKNAP, Khushhal Khan Kakar, appointed an outstanding legal expert Salman Akram Raja.
