- Dyson Cool FC1 is an original Dyson Cool table fan update
- The same powerful and light -free design and air multipliers technology
- Add night mode, more configuration options and a useful LCD screen
The original Dyson Cool was the world’s first fan, and the catalyst of many of the brand’s air care explorations to come. Now, 16 years later, the brand has launched multiple new products in this area, with increasingly advanced features, but Dyson Cool has not seen an update. Until now.
The next -generation model, called Dyson Cool CF1, has the same powerful air flow and an elegant and blade design, but adds some useful features and usability settings to align it with the rest of the best fans in the market. It is not as big or dotted as some of the other launches of the brand, but it offers exactly what I want from a table fan.
So what’s up? First, you have more customization options to play. The oscillation configuration has been extended: now you can choose between 15, 40 and 70 degrees of oscillation (or without oscillation), and now you also have 10 fan speeds to play.
Dyson has added a night mode, which automatically attenuates the screens and adjusts the fan speed, to cool that will help you fall, instead of distracting. It is combined with a new sleep timer that turns off the fan when (hopefully) you are happily on the land of assent. There is also an LCD screen, which is shown in a glance in what mode is found and in what air flow configuration is using.
In other places, there is still a CC engine without brushes and energy efficient, and uses the patented “air multiplier” technology of Dyson, which can apparently amplify the air around it up to 13 times. As with all Dyson fans, there are no blades, which means soft air and even air flow, and a design that is safer and much easier to keep clean. (However, you will not be able to use it to sound like a robot).
There are no air purification functions (or heating, or humidification), as they appear in other Dyson fans in the widest range. Dyson Cool FC1 focuses completely on efficient personal cooling.
“The original windless fan revolutionized the way we think about air flow, combining avant -garde engineering with an elegant, safe and efficient design,” says Logan Thomson, Dyson design engineer. “This last iteration is based on those central benefits by introducing modern updates such as intelligent characteristics, including suspension mode, to meet today’s demands.”
The Dyson Cool CF1 comes with a list price of £ 249.99. He goes on sale in the United Kingdom on May 28, 2025, in Dyson Demo Stores or online in Dyson.co.uk. I am waiting for the price information and launch date for the United States and Australia.
