The New York Knicks were not safe from being trolled by the superstar of the Indiana Pacers, or their girlfriend, after their epic collapse of game 1.
The Knicks exploded a 17 -point advantage in the fourth quarter to lose game 1 of the East Conference finals on Wednesday. They had also led by 14 with 2:50 for the end, and nine with less than 60 seconds.
Everything they have done since then is to lose at home again to continue 2-0 in the series. No one has won a conference final after losing the first two games at home.

But returning to game 1. After assaulting all the way, Tyrese Haliburton threw a long shot that hit the rear iron and fell. With the former hero of the Pacers, Reggie Miller, just feet away, calling the game for TNT, Haliburton imitated Miller’s asphyxiation signal, directed Spike Lee in the 1990s.
Haluburton’s shot ended up being two, putting the game in extra time, but the Pacers went out with the victory.
After the game, Haliburton’s girlfriend, Jade Jones, joined her boyfriend to have her own opportunity in the Knicks.
“Finally I could see the ball fall in New York,” he published on Instagram with a smiling emoji.

The teams leading a playoff game for more than nine points at the last minute of the fourth quarter or extra time of a playoff game had been 1,414-0 since 1998 entering Wednesday. In addition, since 1997, the teams now have 4-1,640 when they are more than seven points in the last minute of the fourth quarter or extra time of a playoff game: the Pacers have won three of those games only this season.
New York returned to revenge on Friday, but the Pacers withdrew late to take a dominant series leadership. This time, it was Pascal Siakam leading the way with 39 points.
He was tied at 81 after three, before the Pacers opened the room with a 13-4 race to advance 94-85 in Triple of Siakam with remaining 9:17. They would quickly push the margin back to there every time the Knicks obtained an impulse, and it was 110-100 after another Siakam basket with 2:45 to play.
The Knicks scored nine in a row to put 110-109 in Josh Hart’s basket with 14 seconds for the end. Aaron Nesmith made two free throws for the Pacers, Brunson was fine in an attempt of 3 points and Turner finished it with two free throws.
Jalen Brunson had 36 points and 11 assists for the Knicks, who need a quick change or their first appearance in the conference finals in 25 years will be brief.
