Pakistan expressed concern for the murder of tourists in an attack on Jammu and Kashmir occupied by India, offering condolences to the families of the victims and wishing a rapid recovery for the injured.

The declaration came from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to questions about the incident, which took place in the Anantnag district of India illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

“We are concerned about the loss of tourists’ lives in an attack on Anantnag,” said the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “We extend our condolences to the close ones of the deceased and wish the injured a rapid recovery.”

At least 26 tourists were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday after armed men opened fire in a popular tourist city in illegally occupied India Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk).

The attack took place on Tuesday in Pahalgam, about 90 km from Srinagar, the main city of the region.

According to the Indian police, the assailants ambushed a group of tourists, shooting at a short distance.

The attack also left more than three dozen injured people, many of whom remain in critical condition.

After the attack, the Indian media have begun to manufacture and disseminate false and foundation propaganda.
