The Pakistan Navy has successfully completed an exercise of two days aimed at counteracting subconventional and asymmetric threats in all main ports and ports throughout the country, according to a statement issued by the Pakistan Navy.

The exercises were designed to test and refine tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP) to guarantee a robust defense of critical maritime infrastructure against evolving threats.

The exercise involved coordinated operations of the Pakistan Navy fleet, the Marines of Pakistan, the Special Service Group (Navy) and the Naval Aviation Units. The scenarios included sabotage, infiltration and unconventional attacks, with the aim of improving coordination between agencies, situational awareness and rapid response capacity.

“The safe functioning of ports and ports is directly linked to national stability and economic growth,” said Amin’s admiral, emphasizing the strategic importance of maritime facilities.

The Pakistan Navy reaffirmed its commitment to maintain a high state of operational preparation and to strengthen its ability to defend maritime borders against emerging security challenges.
