A ship from the Pakistan Navy participates in an International Defense exhibition in the United Arab Emirates (EAU) as part of the efforts to strengthen maritime relations with the Gulf Nation, said the wing of military media on Saturday.

The Pakistan Navy ship (PNS) Yarmouk arrived at the EAU for the International Defense Exhibition (IDEX) and the Naval Defense Exhibition (Navdex 25), said public relations between services (ISPR) in a statement.

Several high profile officials, including the Minister of Tolerance of the EAU and the Defense Ministers of Romania and Yemen, visited the ship.

“Participation in the Defense Exhibition reflects strong defense ties of Pakistan with the EAU and its active role in world maritime security initiatives,” said the ISPR.

Pakistan has intensified his naval diplomacy in recent years, particularly with the nations of the Gulf, as part of efforts to improve maritime security and defense collaboration. The growing commitment is aligned with the broader strategy of Islamabad to maintain stability in regional waters and ensure trade routes amid the evolution of geopolitical dynamics.

The Eau event, with naval ships from eight nations and participation from 65 countries, follows Pakistan’s hosting of the Aman-25 multinational exercise, where 60 countries participated in maritime drills aimed at improving regional safety and cooperation.

After Aman 25, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia carried out the bilateral naval exercise Affaa Al Sahil, which concluded in Karachi last month with a demonstration of firepower tactics and combat.

During his visit to the EAU, Pns Yarmouk also conducted joint exercises with the US Navy ship. Uu.
