Islamabad:
British councilors and mayors throughout the line of the party have appreciated the High Commission of Pakistan (PHC) for gathering community leadership, allowing them to connect with their colleagues and colleagues throughout the United Kingdom.
The PHC in London organized a Convention of British councilors of origin of Pakistan, attended by delegates from all over the United Kingdom, representing all political parties in the United Kingdom, said a message received here on Sunday.
More than 200 councilors, mayors, attached mayors and leaders of the Councils from the Great London to Midlands, Manchester, Bradford, Birmingham and Glasgow, participated in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the high commissioner of Pakistan, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, praised the British-Pakistani leaders for their vital role in strengthening democracy, promoting multiculturalism and served as a bridge between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.
The High Commissioner emphasized the achievement of the achievements of British-Pakistani women. “The strength of our nation abroad is reflected in the dignity, unity and contributions of our diaspora,” he said. “When you get up, Pakistan gets up with you.”
Faisal condemned attempts to stigmatize the Pakistani community based on isolated incidents, urging leaders to actively counteract negative stereotypes by amplifying success stories in education, businesses, medical care and public service. He asked the community to empower women and youth, preserve cultural heritage and explore opportunities in the growing economy of Pakistan.
