Islamabad:
The Delegation of the European Union in Pakistan organized a reception prior to the departure for a high -level delegation of Pakistani parliamentarians who would visit the parliaments and parliamentary budget offices of Austria and Ireland.
The delegation, composed of 23 distinguished members, is headed by the president of the Senate, Yousaf Raza Gilani. It represents diverse political leaders, including presidents of the provincial assemblies, parliamentarians of various political parties and senior officials of the Parliamentary Secretariat.
The visit is organized within the framework of a project funded by the EU worth 15 million euros: support for parliamentary development in Pakistan.
