New Orleans Pelicans The striker Zion Williamson was accused in a lawsuit filed in California on Thursday of violating a woman twice separately. The two-time NBA has denied those accusations two times.
The accusations of assault were first reported on Friday by Eriq Gardner Puck. According to the lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, the woman said she was in a relationship with Williamson while playing basketball in Duke.

In a statement by Williamson’s lawyers shared by the Pelicans, the NBA Star denied all the accusations.
“We take these accusations with the greatest seriousness, and we denied them unequivocally. The accusations contained in the complaint are categorically false and reckless,” said Michael Balacascio. He added that demand is “an attempt to exploit a professional athlete promoted by a financial reason instead of any legitimate complaint.”

“Mr. Williamson and the plaintiff never left, but they maintained a consensual casual relationship that began more than six years ago, when he was 18 years old. That relationship ended years ago. According to Balaascio, Williamson reported the “extortion attempts” to the police.
“We understand that an arrest warrant was issued in relation to that report, and we are prepared to provide the Court with documentation that supports these facts. Mr. Williamson also intends to present a counter -process and seek significant damage to this defamatory lawsuit. While these accusations are false, we recognize the severity of claims and the opportunity to receive the truth in court.

Williamson, 24, was the first general selection in the 2019 NBA Draft. Despite a career tarnished by a long history of injuries, Williamson would become a twice as well as the NBA and was named for the first NBA All-Rookie team.
