The new online security law of Great Britain has left users online in uproar, with the age verification required to access channels on platforms such as Discord or Reddit containing 18+ (NSFW) content. However, as the Internet does often, many have found a solution to avoid this requirement.
As reported by our friends on PC Game, Hideo Kojima’s Death party and its photographic mode allows users to omit the new age verification checks of the United Kingdom. The measure requires that users capture their faces or personal identification to determine their age, but using Death partyThe character of Sam Porter Bridges seems to be sufficient for verification.
Since Death Stranding’s photographic mode has multiple emotions for Sam, players can easily use the front camera of their phone and use specific emotions that make SAM open and close the mouth, according to the instructions of the scanner of the face (which will see below).

The new requirement is considered a positive measure, possibly preventing minor users from accessing harmful content (and rightly). However, those who are older, especially those who do not feel comfortable to share their personal identification, despite the suggestion that the images are not stored after verification is completed.
We have already seen a great filtration of the application of tea dates, leaving personal IDs and images of widely available users online, so there is no guarantee that using personal ids for other social applications is safe.

First, I am not advocating or recommending the use of this Death party go through any means especially If you are a minor. However, since there are clearly problems with the facial scanner, including the lack of alternatives to access discord servers (in addition to using personal identification), this is the only solution for many.
I have tried to use the facial scanner in vain, and according to Discord, I am a young teenager, who is clearly not the case. Fortunately, the Reddit Age Verification Scanner worked easily for me without any problem, so it may be an isolated problem with the Facial Discord scanner.
