President Asif Zardari has offered congratulations to the government and the people of China on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day, marking China’s victory in the World Antifascist War.
The president, in a message declared that September 3 is a powerful reminder of the monumental sacrifices made by the Chinese people and their brave fight against fascism and militarism.
He said that the observance of this historical day not only recognizes the key role of China in promoting global peace and harmony, but also reinforces the timeless values of resistance, courage and unity against oppression.
