Pakistan prices are expected to increase up to RS5.50 per liter during the next 15 days, due to an increase in world oil prices, sources revealed on Sunday.
According to reports, the Oil Companies Advisory Council (OCAC) has completed a working document based on recent international market trends.
The oil and gas regulatory authority (OGRA) is expected to send its summary to the federal government today.
The final decision will be based on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who will approve any change in fuel prices based on OGRA recommendations. The new prices will be implemented once approved.
According to the proposed summary, the price of high -speed diesel could increase by RS5.27 per liter, while gasoline can see an increase of RS1.12 per liter.
In addition, kerosene can increase by RS4.16 and light diesel oil in RS4.13 per liter.
