The Prime Minister invites Bahrain’s investors to boost Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended an invitation to Bahrein investors to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan, emphasizing strong fraternal ties between the two nations.

The statement was held during a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a parliamentary delegation of Bahrain of 11 members led by Ahmed Bin Salman Al-Musallam, president of the Council of Representatives of Bahrein, in Islamabad.

Strengthening of Pakistan-Bahrain’s relationships

During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif transmitted his best wishes for the king of Bahrain, Hamad Bin Isa Bin Salman to the Khalifa, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to deepen bilateral relations.

He stressed that Pakistan and Bahrain share strong historical, religious and cultural ties, and emphasized the importance of improving people exchanges to people to further strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation.

“Parliamentary exchanges play a crucial role in the deepening of our relationship, and such initiatives will contribute to strengthening the already strong fraternal ties between Pakistan and Bahrain,” said Prime Minister Sharif.

Call Bahrain’s investment in Pakistan

The prime minister encouraged Bahrain’s investors to take advantage of the friendly business environment in Pakistan, underlining the country’s vast potential in several sectors, including infrastructure, energy, manufacturing and technology.

He also recognized the significant contributions of the Pakistani diaspora in Bahrain, which play a vital role in different industries and services.

In addition, he emphasized the need to increase the current commercial volume between Pakistan and Bahrain, asking for greater economic collaboration to benefit both countries.

Discussion about the crisis of Palestine and Gaza

Prime Minister Sharif also urged Pakistan, Bahrain and the broader Muslim world to intensify their collective efforts to support the people of Palestine and Gaza. He reaffirmed the unwavering solidarity of Pakistan with the Palestinian people and requested greater humanitarian assistance and diplomatic initiatives to address the crisis.

Key officials present at the meeting

The high-level meeting also attended the president of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, special assistant of the Tariq Fatemi Prime Minister and senior government officials, who participated in the discussions to strengthen the cooperation of Pakistan-Bahrein in multiple sectors.
