- Zotac has uploaded prices with RTX 5090 models in its US online store. UU.
- Two of them, including the high -end board, now cost $ 500 more
- This follows similar and MSI movements with Blackwell’s badge in their own online stores
Zotac is the latest third -party graphics card manufacturer that currently seems to be inflating the price of the Nvidia Blackwell badge GPU.
Videocardz noticed a Reddit publication (see below) that was marked in the Zotac store in the US.
Zotac 5090 AMP Extreme now costs $ 3000 and the 5090 solid OC is now $ 2700 from R/NVIDIA
As you can see, the Zotac RTX 5090 AMP Extreme now tilts the scales in a solid OC model RTX 5090 less than understand the wallet, and even the solid oC model RTX 5090 smaller is a heavy and equally worrying drainage in its bank balance.
This represents a new increase of $ 500 on the price label in the case of both graphics cards, according to the information released in Reddit here.
Zotac is one of the manufacturers of the Board that sells its products directly from its own online store, with Asus and MSI also in this club. Unfortunately, the three companies have increased prices, particularly with the RTX 5090 (which was recently inflated by a considerable amount, so its high -end GPU is even more expensive than the AMP Extreme of Zotac).
ANALYSIS: HI
It could be argued that the price will always be related to supply and demand, and if it is not crystalline enough, the Blackwell GPU supply has so far been quite terrible, and the demand has exceeded it. Even the demand for the expensive RTX 5090, with the flagship with some of the most ridiculous price increases that we have witnessed so far in this new generation of Nvidia graphics cards.
Additional arguments, as Videcardz points out, can also accumulate here, such as import rates courtesy of Trump. But ultimately, what we are seeing with the RTX 5090 price goes beyond the pale.
In this case, Zotac’s solid OC is technically the RTX 5090 of entry level (in reality it is a step forward, being the overclocose version, although it only has a very modest applied overclock, and apparently the base version is no longer listed in the US store more time). The solid OC should not really be much above the NVIDIA MSRP, which is $ 1,999 (the price of the founders’ edition), but this GPU is now 35% more expensive.
(It should make it clear that the Zotac store in the US. UU. It is depressed at this time, while writing this, for maintenance apparently. Could that mean that the price is being adjusted again, after these reports have appeared? Possibly, and I will monitor that).
In any case, the other argument I have seen is: Well, the RTX 5090 models are exhausted anyway, so who cares about the price, is irrelevant. And although that is certainly true, this is a short -term view and quite myopic as such. When the inventory begins to leak again, that uploaded price (presumably) will continue to apply (perhaps, until supply and demand correct even more).
The unfortunate thing is that it was predicted that a robust increase in the actions of RTX 5090 will occur at the end of March, where we are sitting now, and there are no signs of such an increase in supply. What is happening with that? The rumor could have been simply incorrect, or perhaps Nvidia has readjusted its chips allocation, and remains too worried about sales of heavyweight graphics cards (which use that same GB202 chip as RTX 5090).
Meanwhile, there are stories on the waiting lists of waiting Reddit for graphics cards RTX 5090 Preordates that are so long that those who have already lowered their money are waiting for at least another three months to send the GPU.
Everything is a nightmare, frankly, and with the AMD RX 9070 shares they also disappear as soon as it reaches stores, even if the supply of the network equipment is a good business better than Nvidia Blackwell graphics cards, it remains a difficult situation for possible buyers. And that is exactly the reason why a good number of PC players (including myself) are doing the situation, and have resigned themselves to a strategy of waiting for this stock storm and prices for the predictable.
