Islamabad:
A day after announcing the expulsion of the legislators who were absent during the vote of the controversial 26th Constitutional amendment bill, the Imran Khan PTI has formed a committee that will hold its first meeting today (Monday).
According to the sources, the Committee, the former president of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, even Abbas Bappi and Sardar Azhar Tariq, will devise their strategy at their first meeting.
They said that the party already issued notices of display cause to parliamentarians who jumped the crucial parliamentary session on October 21, 2024. According to PTI experts, Imran ordered the higher leadership to issue formal notifications for expulsion of said members.
