The Punjab cabinet approves the RS30B Ramadan package

The Punjab cabinet, under the leadership of Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz, approved a series of important decisions, including a package of RS30 billion Ramadan and the recruitment of almost 6,000 agents.

The meeting, which took place under the presidency of CM Maryam, granted the approval of the “Nigahban Ramadan” package, an RS30 billion initiative aimed at benefiting 30 million people.

The CM announced that from next year, the ATM card will be introduced for the “Nigahban Ramadan” package, which will allow people in Punjab to receive RS10,000 at home without the need to support long queues.

Maryam has approved a key policy aimed at relieving the process for investors and companies, since the government is determined to make Punjab a center for industrialization, offering a wide range of incentives to entrepreneurs.

She emphasized that investors would be welcome to establish industries in the province without facing long bureaucratic processes. “Investors must come, establish industries and start working, while legal procedures will continue,” he said.

The cabinet also approved a “zero time to start” policy for special economic zones (Sez), industrial farms and small industrial farms. The objective is to provide business owners with an accelerated process to obtain non -objection certificates (NOC) and promote a friendly business environment.

“We want to provide all possible facilities to industrialists in Punjab,” said Maryam Nawaz Sharif. “We encourage the establishment of as many industries as possible, with the immediate issuance of Noc. We will simplify the complex processes to establish industries and ensure that they are easier and more friendly to business.”

The cabinet also approved the recruitment of 5,960 agents and the introduction of free trips for special people and old people in the public transport system. In addition, an agreement was also made to present a special travel card for students for students, and the main minister requested a plan for launching a tram service.

In another significant decision, the provincial cabinet approved the financing of RS. 580 million for the acquisition of a “cryoablation” machine for cancer patients, which offers an alternative to chemotherapy.

The funds were also approved to improve Special Education centers in punjab to the centers of excellence. The main minister ordered that these centers be more accessible and friendly for people with disabilities.

The meeting included a decision in principle to introduce special transport services for people with disabilities in Punjab. In addition, Punjab’s public transport authority approved the flexibility of contracting freezing for 127 positions, while the children’s protection and well -being office was authorized to recruit for 87 positions. The age limit for positions in basic and clinical sciences also increased to 65 years.

Other approvals included the recruitment of personnel for 25 positions in the ICT of medical care and specialized medical education and 4 personnel positions in the Danish schools in Tunsa and Mankira. Similarly, the Forest Department received the approval of additional subsidies to occupy vacancies.

A main decision was also made with respect to the recruitment of 500 positions under the Traffic Management Plan for Murree, and the amendments to the Motorized Vehicle Ordinance 1965 were approved for the implementation of an Excel road management system on Punjab.

In addition, the cabinet approved the provision of 1,000 free tractors instead of land income for wheat farmers. It was also decided to gradually replace 353 rescue 1122 vehicles, starting with 117 ambulances in the first phase.
