If the weather application has lit on your pixel phone in recent days and found the radar map strangely absent, it is not alone: it seems to have disappeared on all pixels for all users, and nobody is sure why.
As Android Authority pointed out, this seems to be a change on the server side, which means that Google has apparently adjusted something on its part: there has been no update of the application that has eliminated the meteorological map.
If you are not familiar with the meteorological application in the pixel, the radar map shows rain in any area during the next few hours: it is very similar to Dark Sky, if you remember the popular iPhone weather application that Apple bought in 2020 and then turn off.
The view of the map was part of a great renewal for the weather application in pixels, a renewal that first appeared in the Google Pixel 9 series, before reaching older devices. There is a lot of other information in the application, but the map in real time is a large part of its appeal.
