The railroads will act as the investigation of the Express probe of Islamabad

The research on the Islamabad Express train has been completed, and the report has been sent to the Railroad Ministry.

Upon receiving the findings, the Minister of Railways Hanif Abbasi is expected to initiate legal procedures against which they are responsible in the next few days.

It is pertinent to observe that Islamabad Express was involved in an accident near Kala Shah Kaku on August 1. Up to 25 passengers were injured in the incident, while five Bogies were deranged and turned.

After the tragic accident, the Railroad Minister ordered an investigation and ordered that a report be presented within a week. Acting on these instructions, the Federal Railway Inspector Amir Nisar Chaudhry was appointed research officer. He inspected the accident site and collected evidence.

During the investigation, statements of the train driver, the train assistant driver, La Guardia, the special ticket examiner and the personnel of the Railway Police were recorded, in addition to the officials of the mechanical, electrical and civil departments of the railroads.

After the accident, a three -members team composed of officials from the Mechanical, Commercial, Commercial and Civil Engineering departments issued its initial joint certificate. According to preliminary findings, the accident was caused by the dismantling of the track joint.
