The commentators just revealed the only reason Andrew was never really close to the Welsh.
British royalty expert Hilary Fordwich is the commentator in question and shared everything with FoxNewsDigital.
According to their findings, “the dispute between Prince William and Prince Andrew began primarily due to Andrew’s jealousy and subsequent derogatory comments about Kate Middleton.”
“Prince William was furious” from that moment on. He is especially known for “being fiercely protective” of his wife.
Therefore, “he instituted a policy of zero tolerance towards any wayward behavior or scandals involving Prince Andrew,” the expert admitted.
But as far as Andrew was concerned, the situation became “even more discouraging,” because he had essentially been displaced “as his mother’s ‘golden child’ as he was seen as Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite.”
As a result, Ms. Fordwich explains, “his resentment grew with his plummeting popularity and was then further exacerbated by Kate’s prominence and poise.”
What is pertinent to mention is that this statement comes just a few months before commentator Richard Kay revealed in an article for the Daily Mail that the former duke and his nephew were at odds because of Kate.
At the time he wrote, “differences between monarch and heir persist, especially when it comes to the Prince Andrew scandal. William has long held a grudge against Andrew for being unwelcoming when he first introduced Kate Middleton to the royal family and feels his father has been too soft on him.”
