The main organizations that support the referee block chain, the laboratories outside the chain and the Arbitum Foundation released a new program designed to initiate projects in the initial stage in the ecosystem.
The new program, “Ochain Labs”, is designed to provide market support to “experimental and volatile” projects, according to a Blog post of Offchain Labs, the main arbitrum developer.
“Through Ochain Labs, we are dedicating resources to support developers who seek to quickly expand the application layer devising with them from the ground floor to take the best user experiences to the referee,” said the blog post. “As we do with many referee equipment, we will provide products and [go-to-market] Support for these projects in the initial stage, which collaborates closely to help their applications to prosper in the referee. “
Arbitrum Foundation is a non -profit organization that manages the government’s ecosystem government. Offchain Labs, which created the block chain in 2021, focuses on developer tools and central network infrastructure.
Offchain Labs is launching its new initiative as a way to stimulate greater activity and interest in the broader referee ecosystem. According to the company’s blog publication, the first Ochain Labs projects will soon arise from stealth. Offchain Labs said that the only projects backed by their new program will be those that explicitly “commit themselves to fair and equitable releases,” which means that they avoid tokens and other mechanical launches that experts prefer.
Offchain Labs declared in its blog post that the selection criteria are intended to avoid “extractive ecosystems” and “zero sum games.” Tandem, the venture capital arm of Offchain Labs, “may or may not buy associated tokens in public markets,” added the company.
The referee is an optimistic accumulation network of layer 2 in Ethereum. Like other Rollups, the chain is designed to process transactions faster and cheaper than the main Ethereum block chain. Several new blockchains are based on the technical framework of arbitrum, forming a network of interconnected blockchains called ‘orbit’ of the referee.
The referee is currently the largest layer 2 network in Ethereum, with approximately $ 12.2 billion in its main ‘arbitrum one’ main chain, according to L2Beat.
