- The reference points for the 16E iPhone have appeared online
- Performance and RAM details are revealed
- The phone goes on sale next Friday, February 28
Although Apple has now presented the 16E iPhone, it will not really be available to buy for another week, and before that date of February 28, the reference points have appeared online that tell us a little more about the newest iPhone .
As seen by MySmartprice, the information apparently revealed here includes the impact of the reduced Core count of the GPU in the A18 processor: it has a 4 -core GPU, instead of the 5 -core GPU on the flagships of the iPhone 16.
That means a fall of around 15% in the terms of graphics performance compared to the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus. It is a difference that is worth being aware, although it is unlikely that it is so remarkable if it compared the phones side by the other.
The Geekbench list also confirms that the 16E iPhone has 8 GB of RAM, which is something widely assumed, but that Apple has not mentioned specifically. That is a 4 GB jump on the iPhone Se 3, partly to add support for Apple Intelligence.
Specifications comparisons
The small information bidbit of the Mysmartprice report suggests that the 16E iPhone will offer a 2W wiring load speed, according to a Chinese regulator certification, another update on the iPhone SE 3, which delivered 20W.
As you can see on the iPhone 16E specifications page, Apple does not usually list the last detail of its devices. We still do not know the capacity of the phone’s battery, although up to 26 hours of video playback with a single load (exceeding 22 hours of the iPhone 16) are mentioned.
Advance orders are now live for the 16E iPhone, and you may have decided whether or not you are collecting this phone, but if you are not sure, these additional details can help you make a decision in one way or another.
While the 16E iPhone accumulates well against the most expensive iPhone 16, some features are missing (including Magsafe), so if you choose between the two, it is important to make an exhaustive comparison verification before buying.
