The registration for the Hajj 2026 begins

Islamabad:

The registration process for next year’s Hajj has begun at the request of the Saudi government.

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, all people who wish to perform Hajj in 2026 should register before July 9. This registration process, including the presentation of a registration form at the branches of 15 designated banks, is free.

However, the record is mandatory for all: people who are going to perform Hajj under the government’s scheme, people who wish to use Hajj’s private scheme and Pakistani abroad.

People who could not perform the Hajj this year due to the late presentation of the required rate by Hajj’s private operators will also have to register. This year, thousands of Pakistani could not make pilgrimage to Makkah due to the slack of Hajj’s private operators.

This registry will help the Saudi government make several arrangements.

Hajj’s costs respectively under government and private Hajj schemes will be announced before the next Hajj under the policy of Hajj 2026. Saudi authorities will also announce the Hajj quota for each of the countries.

According to the Pakistan Hajj policy by 2025, a quota of 179,210 pilgrims was divided equally between the government and private schemes.

The agreements for the government scheme were completely managed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and in accordance with the Saudi Directives.
