Amazon has announced the latest incorporations of the cast to The power rings As the main photography finally starts in the third season of the successful program.
In a press release, the company confirmed that the filming had recently begun The power rings Season 3 in Shepperton Studios in the United Kingdom. That is the same location in which The Lord of the Rings The second season of the Prequel series was filmed and produced.
Three new cast members were also revealed as part of the next High Fantasy Prime Show chapter.
Andrew Richardson, whom some spectators could recognize from the Apple TV+ science fiction miniseries ExtrapolationsIt will appear as a regular season 3. Zubin Varla, who portrayed Xanwan in AndorDisney +’s first season, and Adam Young, which appeared in two original Apple TV episodes Air teachersThey are also aboard recurring roles.
The trio joins the newcomers of season 3 Jamie-Campbell Bower and Eddie Marsan on the cast of the cast, with the Strangest things and Heartstopper The stars are recorded at the end of February. What characters will play Richardson, Varla and Young in the rings of Power season 3?
We don’t know. Amazon has not revealed who will portray in one of the best prime video programs, but that will not prevent me from speculating who could touch.
According to its official plot report, The power rings Season 3 “will jump several years” at the height of the War of the Elfos and Sauron. This almost decade conflict must form the basis of the plot of the next season along with the creation of Sauron of a ring. It is possible, then, that Richardson, Varla and Young can simply be new characters that are common commanders, lieutenants or soldiers for each army.
However, it is also a possibility that one or more of them can assume the role of the established characters that populate the Middle Earth in the literary works of Jrr Tolkien.
I previously suggested that Marsan could play Durin IV’s brother, who could compete with his brother for the throne of Khazad-Dûm next season. Could anyone like Varla, however, play it instead?
Then there is the perspective that one of the subplots of the next season will focus on Sauron giving the last nine rings of power to the kings of men.
Canonically, the Dark Lord of the Middle Earth does it before modifying the only ring to govern them all. The power rings It has been quite liberal in its description of how and when events are developed in the second age, but it would not make sense if Sauron creates its own ring before presenting the remaining rings to people who will become their most reliable lieutenants, also known as The Ringwraiths. After all, you cannot use the kings of men’s rings to bend them at their will without the only ring.
So, if they appear to the kings of men with this, it is not plausible that Richardson, Varla and/or young people can interpret some of these people. That includes the monarch who becomes the King of the Witch of Angmar and Khamul The Easterling, the latter also becomes one of the nine nonewraiths.
Season 3 does not yet have a release date, so we will be waiting for some time to find out who these actors will play.
