The rivers that flow normally in the middle of low flood alerts

The Provincial Disaster Authority (PDMA) PUNJAB issued a flood alert on Tuesday, confirming that all the main rivers, torrents of hills and streams in the province currently flowed to normal or low flood levels.

According to the latest data, there was no medium or high level flood report at any time in the province.

The update indicated that the Indo River in Tarbela and Kalabagh were experiencing low -level floods, with a descending trend in the entrance of water, while Chashma was also in low flood conditions but with an ascending trend.

Other important rivers, including Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej, flowed into normal parameters. It was also reported that the torrents of the hill in Rajanpur and Dera Ghazi Khan flow normally, without unusual water observation.

Similarly, all the main Nullah flowed to regular levels, not representing an immediate threat.

The PDMA has advised residents to remain cautious, particularly those who live in low areas and by the river. The people have been urged to strictly follow the instructions of the administrations of PDMA PUNJAB and the local district.

Meanwhile, according to the spokesman for the Water and Energy Development Authority (WAPDA), in Tarbela, the Indo River was receiving an entrance of 287,700 Cusecs while the output flow was recorded at 282,100 CUSECs.

In Mangla, the Jhelum River was experiencing an entrance of 22,000 Cusecs with an 8,000 CUSECs output. In Chashma Barge, the entrance is 364,000 CUSECs and the output flow at 345,800 CUSECs.

In the head Marala on the Chenab River, the entrance was recorded at 71,300 CUSECs, while the exit was 44,300 Cusecs. In Nowshera, the Kabul River was seeing an equal entrance and an exit of 50,400 Cusecs.

The levels of deposits remain stable in the three main dams. In Tarbela, the current water level was 1,521.06 feet, with a storage capacity of 4,144 million acres-pies. In mangla, the water level is 1,180.90 feet, storing 3,145 million acres-pies.
