The general director of Public Relations between Services (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that the “hostile mentality and resources” of India were behind the terrorist incidents in Pakistan, which reaffirmed that the country’s armed forces were fully prepared to eliminate all forms of proxy war.
He made the comments during a meeting with a delegation from the newspaper editors of the Council of Pakistan (CPNE) led by President Kazam Khan on Friday. In statements to the delegation, Lieutenant General Chaudhry said that the Armed Forces of Pakistan, with the support of the public, were totally able to defeat this “proxy war” that is fought against the country.
“All acts of terrorism in Pakistan date back to the negative mentality and resources of India,” he said, adding that “the armed forces of Pakistan have a total capacity to crush this war of power.”
When commenting on the situation in Baluchistan, the ISPR DG said the efforts to spread the dejection through negative propaganda would not success. “Patriotic and resistant people of Baluchistan are fully aware of the nefarious designs of antistatal elements and their foreign sponsors,” he said.

Lieutenant General Chaudhry also emphasized the vital role of youth in the configuration of the future of Pakistan, describing them as “a national asset whose optimism reflects the brilliant future of the country.”
He praised the Pakistani media for their constructive and responsible role in the times of national crisis. “During the recent conflict, the Pakistani media demonstrated professionalism and effectively counteracted Indian propaganda,” he said.
The CPNE delegation, in turn, praised the Armed Forces for their performance and praised the ISPR for providing credible and timely information during critical moments. “The ISPR played a fundamental role during each phase of the recent conflict, and its response to Indian misinformation was both timely and credible,” CPNE members said.
Recent events described a possible “historical success” through the collective and coordinated efforts of the Pakistani nation, the government and military institutions.
